We had a glorious drive to Tecuala for our Branch Conference Sunday morning.
It is such a pretty drive!
Harvesting the sugar cane.
We see truck after truck piled high!
Here is the little House of Prayer in Tecuala
The Primary children
They have a nice group of young women and
several young men, one
who passed the Sacrament
This good brother standing by the font blessed the
sacrament with Elder Galindo today
This large room is where we met for
Sacrament meeting and our Gospel Doctrine class
The view from the front door way inside
Elder Galindo teaching Gospel Doctrine
Peeking just outside the front door to the left,
I spied this mother hen and her chicks right
behind the car, getting ready to cross the road.
so... just why did the chicken cross the road?

The Tecuala Branch
President Clayton, with Branch President Segundo
With the Santiago District Presidency
We were so thrilled that the District Presidency
brought their wives and families with them.
These women are such sweethearts and make
up the District Primary Presidency.
We dropped by to see the Elders apartment
Elder Kotter ZL, Elder Price
Elder Manriquez ZL and Elder Galindo
Everything was nice and orderly
Let's just take a closer look.
That's right.. those eggs are right on top of the fridge.
Looking through the screen window to the outside
back porch with their large planning board
mothers... please note. That's right, they will be
getting a new ironing board cover.
But, bless their hearts for faithfully ironing their shirts!
These two are wonderful Elders. They are far away
from the mission home, and in one of the hottest parts of
our mission. We are very proud of these two Elders!
The building across the street from their apartment

ok, I loved seeing this burro just. right. there.
Elder Mexquititla serving as Branch President of the Branch there. Here he is outside
the House of Prayer in Acuponeta. (I love this place!)
The front entryway
view from the front right side
President waiting while tithing money was counted
What a great day we had with these five Elders!
