The morning gathering.
The welcoming.
Our theme:
*Understanding our divine roles as women of God.
*How can serving the Lord as a full time sister missionary prepare us to become righteous women in today's confusing world?
*How can we use this time to prepare ourselves to-
-become Christ-like women, companions and mothers?
- to influence those around us for good, to strengthen and lift others?
- receive personal revelation to guide us in our lives?
*What are some of the Christlike attributes we find in the righteous women in the scriptures?
*One of the best ways to prepare ourselves, is to seek the Lord's heavenly guidance is through the scriptures.
- to understand the importance of the Lord's power that comes as we receive personal revelation.
Psalms 19:7-11
scriptures = are more precious than gold, than much pure gold, and sweeter than honey
Psalms 119:103
How sweet are thy words unto my taste. Yea sweeter than honey to my mouth.
Are the scriptures sweet to us?
Are they delicious?
Are they more valuable to us, more precious to us than gold?
Do we feast on them?
Do we delight in them?
Do we ponder them and liken them to ourselves?
Do we search them for answers to specific questions?
Do we recognize them as one of the sweetest blessings that we have here on earth?
