We are thrilled to welcome 14 new missionaries to the Mexico Guadalajara Mission!
I just love to see our new missionaries come out those doors!
These first sisters sure had big smiles on their faces!
Eager and ready to get started.
We are eager and ready to greet them!
We met brother and sister Gastelum today at the airport. They saw us and
came up to us to introduce themselves. Listen to this inspiring story.
The Gastelum's son and Elder Novak are best friends. The day
sister Gastelum took out her endowments, they invited
Elder Novak to their home and introduced him to the gospel.
They got to know his family as well. They friend shipped them,
and asked them to be taught the gospel in their home.
The Gastelum's son baptized Elder Novak, and just a month ago,
he and his family were sealed in the Temple.
What a tender experience it was to watch brother and
sister Gastelum greet Elder Novak and welcome him to his mission.
The Gastelum's live in the Guadalajara East Mission boundaries.
We welcome this dynamic missionary to our mission.
We paused for a picture right outside the front doors of the airport.
The hermanas came with us in our van.
I already love these sisters!
We came to the church and had a quick bite to eat.
Our assistants explained the plan for the day,
and gave them their supplies.
Holding our powerful Books of Mormon
in the four finger power hold!
They are ready!
Our new missionaries set out today, their first day with
a companionship from here in Guadalajara to contact
and teach with them for today. We will meet with them
tomorrow for their first full day of training.
