Baptisms for the week of 8-14-17

We ran into Araceli´s spouse when we were contacting, he told us that he was a member but that he was inactive, he was alright with us stopping by and visiting them. As we began to visit him we met his wife, who we started to teach. She was very receptive and she began to pray and to read the Book of Mormon and attend church. Now she has been baptized and she wants to continue following the Savior. Now she wants to enter the temple and be sealed to her husband and her children. Thanks to this her husband reactivated and prepared to be the one to baptize her.
Elder Esteban, Elder Velázquez
Encontramos el esposo de la hermana Araceli en un contacto, él nos dijo que es miembro, pero estaba inactivo desde mucho tiempo y el acepto que pasemos a visitarlo. Pudimos conocer a su esposa, a quien empezamos a enseñar. Ella fue muy receptiva y empezó a orar y leer el Libro de Mormón y a asistir en la capilla. Ahora tomó la decisión de tomar de un bautismo y seguir al salvador. Ahora anhela entrar al templo y sellarse con su esposo y sus dos hijos. Gracias a eso su esposo se activó y se preparó para bautizarla.

Jandro is a young man who learned of the church by a few family members. While he was attending church his desire to be baptized was growing. Now he has decided that it was the right time to be baptized, his next goal is to be able to pass the Sacrament!
Elder Shehee, Elder Padrón
Jandro es un joven que conoció la iglesia por medio de algunos familiares. Conforme fue asistiendo fue aumentando su deseo de tomar un bautismo. ¡Ahora el decidió que era tiempo de poder bautizarse y su próxima meta es poder repartir la Santa Cena!

Sister Virginia was a street contact in one of the areas that we didn´t have investigators. We thought that she was a member, but as we found out she was not a member we started to teach her. She is really a strong convert to the church, in which she will not separate from, she told us. God gave us the power of finding someone who is prepared to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

La hermana Virginia fue un contacto en la calle en una colonia en la cual no había investigadores. pensamos que ya era miembro, pero al saber que no era miembro empezamos ensañar. Ella es una conversa real en la cual nada lo va a separar de la iglesia, Ella nos comentó. Dios nos dio el poder encontrar a una persona preparada para recibir el Evangelio de Jesucristo.

Sister Taily got Baptized! Taily is a Young woman who is very diligent and patient. She has a firm testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and God, our loving Heavenly Father. Taily wants to be a missionary. Many people who attended her baptism were investigators who she invited.
Hermana Velasquez, Hermana Andrade
¡La Hermana Taily se bautizó! Taily es una joven muy diligente y paciente. Ella tiene un firme testimonio del profeta José Smith, el libro de Mormón y que Dios es nuestro amoroso Padre Celestial. Taily quiere ser una misionera, la mayoría de las personas que asistieron eran investigadores quien ella invito.
