Ariadna Palomar has a little more than three months since she came to Tijuana, BC. Her family are members of the church. She began to attend church and liked it a lot. Whenever we visit she receives us in the best way, very attentive and receptive; a future missionary.
Elder Sustita, Elder Vargas
Ella es Ariadna Palomar, ella tiene un poco más de tres meses que se vino de Tijuana, BC. Su familia es miembro de la iglesia, empezó a asistir y le gustó mucho, siempre que la visitamos nos recibe de la mejor manera, muy atenta y receptiva; una futura misionera.

Jazmin was a reference and at first, she wasn’t very interested. But by attending church, she gained a testimony until she came to know that it was true and decided to follow the example of Jesus Christ and change her life in the Lord’s way.

Jazmín fue una referencia y ella al principio no tenía mucho interés, pero conforme fue asistiendo a la capilla, fue obteniendo un testimonio hasta que llego a saber que era verdad y estaba decidida a poder seguir el ejemplo de Jesucristo y cambiar su vida a la manera del salvador.

Brother Hipolito is a reference from sister Lolita, she invited him to church and we got to know him and taught him. At first he said that it was difficult for him to learn and that he had a lot of questions, but he began to read the Book of Mormon and the pamphlets we left him. In the lessons he began to learn many things that he said he knew before but that weren’t very clear for him. He has loved going to church since the first time he went. His daughters and many members attended his baptism, and he is very excited and happy to have come to know the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Elder Ponce, Elder Esteban
El hermano Hipólito es una referencia de la hermana Lolita, ella lo invito a la capilla y nosotros lo conocimos y le enseñamos. Al principio él decía que le costaba aprender y tenía preguntas, pero el empezó a leer el libro de Mormón y todos los folletos que le dejamos. En las lecciones empezó a aprender muchas cosas que él dijo que sabía antes pero no eran tan claros para él. Le gusta asistir desde ese momento y él siempre ha asistido. Su bautismo fue especial; asistieron sus hijos y varios miembros él está muy animado y feliz por haber conocido el evangelio de Jesucristo.

The Aguayo family is marvelous. They really are converted to the Lord. Since the moment they began listening -three months ago- they have never missed church. The Lord really has prepared their hearts to receive the restored gospel. It was a very special baptismal service. The place was wonderful, as if it were the waters of Mormon. They are very excited to continue in the gospel and help others to do the same.

La Familia Aguayo es una familia maravillosa. Son realmente convertidos al Señor. Desde el momento que empezaron a escuchar, hace 3 meses, no han faltado al ir a la Iglesia. Realmente el Señor ha preparado sus corazones para recibir el evangelio restaurado. Fue un servicio bautismo muy especial, el lugar fue maravilloso, como si fuera las aguas de Mormón. Son muy animados a seguir en el evangelio y ayudar a los demás al hacerlo también.

Sister Norma was able to attend the baptism of her brother and by being there she had a strong and sincere desire to also enter into the waters of baptism. She began to take the lessons, and my listening more about the gospel and commandments she quickly made changes in her life so that she could live in accordance to the will of God. Now she is helping her family to prepare to make the same covenant.
Elder Long, Elder Torres, Elder Dehesa
La Hermana Norma pudo asistir al bautismo de su hermano y al estar allí ella tuvo un deseo sincero y fuerte de también entrar en las aguas del bautismo. Ella empezó a escuchar las lecciones. Al escuchar el evangelio y los mandamientos ella rápidamente hizo cambios en su vida al poder vivir de acuerdo con la voluntad de Dios. Ahorra ella está ayudando a su familia al poder prepararse para hacer este convenio también.

Sister Gabrieal has changed her life completely and has found her testimony of this gospel. She has a different light about her and even she has told us that others have told her that they have noticed a change in her life. She is so happy and ready to receive the many blessings that await her!
Elder Chamberlin, Elder Stubbs
Herman Gabrieal ha cambiado completamente su vida en torno a y se ha encontrada su testimonio de este Evangelio. Ella tiene una luz diferente sobre ella, y ella incluso ha sido diciendo que otros han sido darse cuenta de la diferencia en su vida. ¡Ella es tan feliz y listo para recibir muchas bendiciones que esperar a ella!

Adriana is the daughter of a sister who returned to the church a few months ago. Her sisters were baptized in June. At first, she was very reluctant and her first baptismal date fell through because we couldn’t teach her. She kept preparing for her new baptismal date and a miracle happened, she had a mighty change of heart! She felt sorrow for her mistakes and understood that she could become clean and be born again. This was her greatest longing, that her Father could forget her sins and that she could have an eternal family. Despite being so young, she felt great sorrow. The day came and she could be baptized and confirmed, and now she is very happy and attending seminary with enthusiasm! Now her family has many trials, but she trusts her Heavenly Father. Before being baptized she told us that she just wanted to be baptized to please her mom, but at the end she understood, felt the spirit and knew that to be baptized was one of the best decisions she ever made in her life.
Sister Rosado, Sister Núñez
Adriana es hija de una hermana que volvió a la Iglesia hace unos meses. Sus hermanas se bautizaron en junio. Ella al principio era muy renuente y su primer fecha meta cayo porque no pudimos enseñarle. ¡Se siguió preparando para la nueva fecha y el milagro ocurrió, tuvo un cambio de corazón muy grande! Sentía pesar por sus errores y entendía que podía ser limpia y nacer de nuevo. Ese era su más grande anhelo, que el Padre pudiera olvidar sus pecados y tener una familia eterna. A pesar de ser tan jovencita (14) ella sentía un pesar muy grande. ¡El día llego y ella pudo ser bautizada y confirmada, ahora está muy feliz! ¡Y ya asiste a Seminario con mucho ánimo! Su familia ahora tiene muchas pruebas, pero confía mucho en su Padre Celestial. Antes de bautizarse nos confesó que solo se iba a bautizar para complacer a su mama, pero al final entendió todo, sintió el espíritu y sabe que es una de las mejores decisiones que ha tomado en su vida.

Esmeralda’s great desire to be baptized was finally fulfilled. She kept every one of her commitments and continues to do so. Each member of her family can see and admire the great changes in her knowledge and attitude. She desires to be firm in the gospel. She understood each one of the lessons so well that she taught her friends the restored gospel. Her mother and older sister were greatly impacted to see her make so much progress.

Ella es Esmeralda, su gran deseo de ser bautizada se cumplió, cada uno de sus compromisos los cumplió y sigue cumpliendo los, cada uno de los miembros de su familia le admiran y ven los grandes cambios en ella, tanto de conocimiento como de actitud, ella desea seguir firme en el evangelio, entiende muy bien cada una de las lecciones y hasta le enseña a sus amigos el evangelio restaurado, su hermana tuvo un gran impacto al verla progresar mucho, al igual que su mama.

Emiliano is a very special kid. He was very prepared; every time we taught him and his little brother they were very attentive and when we asked questions they answered correctly. In every lesson he asked why he should be baptized. By getting to know him we could strengthen our testimony and his as well. We know, and he knows that we need to become as children to enter the kingdom of God. His grandfather, who has been a member for a year, helped Emiliano to prepare himself for his baptism. He is very young but has desires to go on a mission and share the gospel with others.
Elder Ramírez, Elder Solares
Emiliano es un niño muy especial estaba super preparado, cada que enseñábamos él y su hermanito estaban muy atentos y cuando hacíamos preguntas ellos contestaban correctamente. En cada lección el pedía por que se pudiera bautizar, al conocerle a él pudimos reforzar nuestro testimonio y fortalecer el de él. Realmente sabemos y él sabe que hay que ser como niños para entrar en el reino de dios. Su abuelo que es miembro desde hace un año le ayudó mucho a prepararse. Ahora él está muy joven, pero tiene deseos de ir a la misión y compartir este evangelio con los demás.

After a few years of having known the missionaries, Cristina decided to listen to the message of the restored gospel after she had a dream that left her with several questions. These questions were answered as she heard about the church of Jesus Christ and it´s restoration, about the plan of salvation, and as she could feel Heavenly Fathers love for her. She finally obtained a testimony of the Book of Mormon and of the Church. Now, Cristina wants to enter the temple with her husband and be able to make covenants so that her family can be an eternal family.
Elder Arguello, Elder Cruz
Después de unos años de haber conocido a los misioneros, la hermana Cristina decidió escuchar el mensaje del Evangelio restaurado al tener un sueño que la había dejado con algunas preguntas. Esas preguntas fueron resueltas a medida que escuchó acerca de la Iglesia de Jesucristo que había sido restaurada, acerca del Plan de Salvación y a medida que pudo sentir el amor del Padre Celestial en su vida. Pudo finalmente tener un testimonio del Libro de Mormón y de la Iglesia, Ahora, Cristi desea entrar en el Templo con su esposo y de estar manera hacer los convenios para que su familia sea una familia eterna.

Baptism of Erik. Erik is 14 and a super cool guy who we found him through a part member family. After one month of teaching him he was baptized and super excited to receive the priesthood!
Elder Crismon, Elder Piau
El bautismo de Erik. Él tiene 14 años y es un muy bueno chico. Lo encontremos en una familia de quien no todos son miembros. Después un mes enseñándole él se bautizó y esta super animado a recibir el sacerdocio. 11.
Carlos was originally the investigator of the sisters. His wife is an active member of the church and they had both been discussing about the church and baptism before. They met the missionaries and Carlos accepted to listen to the lessons. He had many good and often deep questions about the church that showed us that he really thought about the things we taught him. Over time, we had the privilege of watching his testimony grow until it led him to make the decision to enter into the waters of baptism. Carlos was well received by the branch members and now lives happily with the guidance of the Holy Ghost. We are very happy for him and look forward to the time when he can enter the temple to be sealed with his family for time and all eternity.
Elder Rose, Elder Estaban
Originalmente Carlos era investigador de las hermanas. Su esposa es miembro activa en la iglesia y ambos han hablado de la iglesia y del bautismo. Conocieron los misioneros y Carlos aceptó a escuchar a las lecciones. Él tuvo muchas preguntas que eran buenas y muchas veces profundos. Podemos ver que él realmente pensaba en las cosas que enseñamos y tuvimos el privilegio a ver su testimonio crecer hasta él tomó la decisión a bautizarse. Carlos fue recibido muy bien por los miembros de la rama. Ahora vive feliz con el guía del Espíritu Santo. Estamos muy contento con él y esperamos el tiempo cuando el podrá entrar el templo para sellarse con su familia por tiempo y la eternidad.

Brother Hector has a very strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and it helped him to change his life. With the help and support that he received he could make his first covenant and is preparing himself to receive the priesthood and enter the temple to do the work for his parents. He is always sharing the gospel with everyone.
Elder Stubbs, Elder Garcia
El Hermano Hector tiene un testimonio muy fuerte del Libro de Mormón y le ayudo a cambiar su vida. Con la ayuda y apoyo que el recibió él pudo tomar su primer convenio y se está preparando para recibir el sacerdocio y entrar el templo para hacer la obra para sus padres. Y siempre está compartiendo el evangelio con todos.

Brother Ramón contacted us in the street because he wanted to know what we were selling. After we explained that the gospel could change his life he became very interested. After beginning to read the Book of Mormon he knew it was true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. He attended General Conference and found his answer and made the decision to be baptized.
Elder Elmer, Elder Garcia
El Hermano Ramón nos contactó en la calle porque quería saber que vendíamos. Después explicamos el evangelio que podía cambiar su vida y él se interesó mucho. Después empezó a leer el Libro de Mormón y supo que era verdad y que José Smith era un profeta. Asistió la conferencia y obtuvo su respuesta y tomo la decisión a bautizarse.

Sister Gloria knew the church for a long time, but hadn’t firmly decided to be baptized. Over the years she became very familiar with the church and the doctrine until she finally made the decision to make her first covenant. She is very happy for the decision that she made and for the support she has received from the ward members. She is working hard to be able to go to the temple soon and do her family history work.

La hna. Gloria conoce la Iglesia hace mucho tiempo, pero no había tomado la decisión firme de bautizarse. Con el paso de los años ella se familiarizó mucho con la Iglesia y la doctrina hasta que finalmente tomó la decisión de hacer su primer convenio. ella está muy feliz por la decisión que tomó y el apoyo que ha recibido de los miembros del barrio, y se está esforzando mucho para poder ir pronto al Templo y poder hacer su historia familiar.
