The purpose of this blog is to highlight the beautiful city of Guadalajara; the faithful members, the valiant missionaries who serve here, as well as the people, culture, and food.

On our way to Cihuatlan 10-22-17

We had a beautiful drive to Cihuatlan Sunday morning
for their Branch Conference, which included
the small groups in Barra de Navidad,
La Huerta and Melaque.

Little flowers dotted the highway as we drove by

Everything was green and pretty.

I love the huge sprawling trees we see everywhere.

Here is the famous statue in the center
of the entryway turn, into Cihuatlan.

Big ol' white cathedral as we enter the city

Sunday morning views

I couldn't resist a quick picture of these two grandmas
dressed for church and probably heading that
way, in the back of the pick up truck.

Heading to the small House of Prayer

President Clayton far right with
Cihuatlan Branch President, President Quintana,
his son and executive secretary, Mahori
and his second counselor, brother Prado
holding his small daughter.

President Clayton always teaches the third hour in every
Branch and District Conference.

I just could not resist taking this sweet sister's picture

The Cihuatlan Branch

With our missionaries serving in
Santiago 1 and in Cihuatlan
Elder Sanchez and Elder Novak on my left,
and zone leaders in Manzanillo
Elder Angulo and Elder Colvin
on President Clayton's right.

With brother and sister Trefergen's who have been
house sitting for some folks in Melaque, and
who have been such a blessing and help to our
missionaries.  We will surely miss them!
