This interview rotation, as President Clayton interviewd each missionary individually, we had a day of accounting.
We had individual accounting sheets for each missionary to fill out and check off as they rotated with various companions to complete each task.
These are the things here in the mission that we have asked every missionary to know and be prepared with.
1. Recite in Spanish and in English:

*D&C 4
*The Standard of Truth
*3 Nephi 5:13
2. Give the three talks they have prepared:
These are 3 - 4 minute talks that are scripture based, with a personal example or experience, ending with a personal testimony. The three talks are on:
*Baptism
*The Holy Ghost
*Our Savior Jesus Christ
3. We then had each missionary read the two letters we have recently sent to them on:
~ Writing letters home
~ Technology in the mission
4. Each missionary then went through the 5 main PMG Lesson Outlines - We don’t ask that they know them word for word, but they must be given with clear understanding, so that they flow nicely.
Lessons 1-3 are very specific lessons on the Restoration, the Plan of Salvation, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Lesson 4 has 13 commandments they must know and be able to teach
Lesson 5 has 7 of the laws and ordinances of the Gospel that all missionaries must know and be able to teach
5. Finally, when Elder Anderson was visiting our mission, he asked each missionary to memorize 5 scriptures in the New Testament, and 5 scriptures in the Book of Mormon. These are verses of scripture each missionary may choose, ones they want to memorize and ones that have meaning to them individually.
Theses 10 scriptures were recited and accounted for today.
***On each accounting sheet, careful notes were taken; and where a missionary felt like he or she fell short of what our expectations were in these various area, they set specific goals to help them achieve these requirements.
We then talked about the benefits and blessings of setting meaningful goals throughout our day.
It was wonderful to spend the day with each of our zones and with each of our missionaries.
