Santiago District Conference

What a day we have had!
We just attended and spoke at the Tepic Stake Conference this morning.
Area Seventy, Elder Jose Pineda, was there (on the left). We had met with him in another conference here in Mexico.  He is such a friendly man. Stake President Huerta is in the center.
We had to say quick goodbyes, to be on our way to the Santiago District Conference just over an hour away, where President Clayton called a new District Presidency.
We tried listening to the Christmas Devotional as we drove... as well as we could, because we were in and out of service.

President Clayton released District President Macias (center) and called a new District President, President Arias, (his counselor on the left).

Here he is with his new counselors.
The man on the left is the branch president in San Blas,
and the older brother on his right is his grandfather
who raised him. It's been a tender day.

Here he is with his precious family

We loved seeing this farmer hitched up to his
horse in the middle of his field.
