Vallarta Zone Conference 5-16-17

Fantastic day with our Vallarta Zone!

President Clayton's welcome

Faith!  Do we have faith?

*** please note, for details about what President Clayton
and I taught specifically, please see May Mission Council
blog post. thanks..

President called up Elder Custodio up to help
him with his object lesson.

President Clayton asked Elder Custodio if he
trusted him, and if he had faith enough to fall
back into his arms? Elder Custodio thought about
it and just didn't know...

He needed a moment..

and then, he finally determined he did have
faith enough to do it.

He fell right down.

President Clayton had assured a safe catch, by
asking additional Elders to come and help.

Do we have faith in God?
What has God put in place to help us know
his will, and help us safely stay on course?

My teaching.
Thank you to Elder Long for translating for me as I
taught about the role the Holy Ghost plays in conversion.

We have asked every missionary to be prepared with
three, three minute talks, and to have them ready
and in their back pockets at all times.
One on
1. Baptism
2. The Holy Ghost
3. The Savior

Today there was a caramel treat for those
who had obeyed and were prepared.

Hoy es el dia!
Today was the day we began to hear one or
two of those prepared talks.

President called on wonderful Sister Perez

..and Elder Martinez

Both did an outstanding job!
President and I listening to them teach.

Our sister training leaders, Sister Garduno and
Sister Vega who serve in both the Vallarta and in Nayarit
zones taught again today about personal and companion study.

We sure love these two devoted sisters!

Team #4

and Team # 4 won!

President's teaching of the need for continual
finding new contacts and new investigators.

Zone Leaders Elder Jimenez and Elder Long
did a wonderful job teaching about inviting to church,
inviting to keep commitments, inviting to make changes
in their lives... we must become expert in Inviting!

How can we invite and prepare our
investigators to come to church, and
prepare them for the sacred experiences
they will have, maybe for the first time?
