The purpose of this blog is to highlight the beautiful city of Guadalajara; the faithful members, the valiant missionaries who serve here, as well as the people, culture, and food.

this and that

I caught President's reflection and smile as the sisters here in Santiago were presenting their part

We ran late with our conference, and these Elders heading to Acaponeta missed their bus and we took them to catch another one.  We couldn't resist this shot of them heading out.
Have I mentioned lately, that we love our missionaries!!!

Maybe just one more picture of our Elders, walking to catch their bus.

This is our hotel room in Tepic.  It was very cultural, and our favorite part was looking out the huge
windows into the courtyard below, both in the morning and later in the evening. Wow!

The church tower and bells rang each quarter hour, it was beautiful, and very historic

ok... these guys are always around, do you see them rounding the corner??

The courtyard at dusk, when the music and dancing is just beginning.

Here is a sample of what we were seeing and hearing... we loved it!

ps  do you notice the lightening storm going on in the background?

We ran into these three on the side of the road in Vallarta

On the ride home from Tepic, the countryside was so beautiful.  We had to stop and take a picture of these guys.  The one tan cow seemed to be saying, may I help you?
We also loved the birds close by

ok, that's it... I'm  leaving..

This is breath taking
